In connection with the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the United Kingdom) from the European Union (so-called "Brexit") and the expiry on 31.12.2020 of the "transitional period" during which EU law continues to apply to the United Kingdom, as of 01.01.2021 the United Kingdom will be treated as a third country, i.e. a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
In view of this, from 01.01.2021, all payments to/from the United Kingdom, regardless of the payment currency, will be processed and executed as payments to/from a non-EEA country. Accordingly, the relevant items of the Tariff of Fees and Commissions for individuals and legal entities corresponding to payments to/from non-EEA countries shall apply.
