Fibank 
Mr. Jivko Todorov, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board of Fibank, was distinguished at the prestigious CFO of the Year 2018 Awards. Mr. Todorov took the first prize in the Strategy for Development of the Financial Function category. The winners of the competition for Best Financial Professionals of Bulgaria were announced at a ceremony held at the Central Military Club in the capital Sofia.
"I would like to thank the bank's management for the confidence invested in me over the years. There has been a lot to do and the results are not just my achievement, but of the team of professionals I work with. Last but not least, I want to thank my wife for the energy she gives me every day", Mr. Todorov said.
The CFO of the Year Awards are being held for the fifth consecutive year by the consultancy company EY Bulgaria, with the media support of Forbes Bulgaria. Created with the idea of distinguishing Bulgaria's outstanding financial leaders, the CFO of the Year Awards contribute to the promotion of good professional practices in the sphere of corporate finance.
CFOs from various sectors of the economy competed for the 2018 Awards: manufacturing, services, commerce, banks. Nominations were reviewed by an independent jury composed of successful business leaders, academics and representatives of financial organizations. Members of the jury were Prof. DEcon. Bistra Boeva from the University of National and World Economy, Ms. Daneta Zheleva, CEO of Industrial Holding Bulgaria, Mr. Todor Breshkov, Managing Partner of LAUNCHub, Mr. Nikolay Andreev, CFO of Nova Broadcasting Group and winner of the 2014 Awards, Mr. Nikolay Genchev, CEO of Uniqa Insurance Company AD, Mr. Alexander Pulev, Chief Banker, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
