First Investment Bank awarded with a prize from the "Dnevnik 100" Ranking

The financial institution is ranked third in the ranking for best public company on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in 2007

First Investment Bank was awarded with third place in the ranking for "Best public company on BSE" by "Dnevnik" newspaper. Apostol Apostolov - Chairman of the Financial Supervision Commission bestowed the prize - a deed and a paving stone, cut in half - to Vasilka Stamatova, Investor Relations Director at First Investment Bank. Vasilka Stamatova expressed her appreciation towards "Dnevnik" for the honor as well as her gratitude to all investors for their significant interest and high opinion of the company. "The award marks the good results of First Investment Bank, achieved throughout 2007. It demonstrates the stability of FIBank as an institution."

First Investment Bank became publicly traded company in June 2007. The listing of its shares on the stock exchange was recognized as the largest IPO in Bulgaria so far.

The financial results from the first quarter of 2008 demonstrate a profit growth of near 50% in comparison with the first quarter of 2007.
