Fibank For the sixth time, Fibank (First Investment Bank) received the "Golden Heart" award at a ceremony held at Inter Expo Center in Sofia. On behalf of the bank, the Chief Executive Office, Mr. Nikola Bakalov, received the prize.
Fibank's award in the category "Support and business development of young people" is a recognition of the Sustainable Lady Fund, established in 2021 as part of the Bank's Smart Lady program. The Sustainable Lady fund supports innovative green start-up projects of Bulgarian women entrepreneurs in order to help them develop a sustainable business. Last year, the fund supported eight women entrepreneurs.
"Our goal is not just to support these projects, but to create a network where they can interact and develop. Therefore, we accept with particular satisfaction the award for our Sustainable Lady Fund", said Mr. Bakalov.
The "Golden Heart" awards recognize the efforts of companies and individuals who have contributed the most through funds and time to a specific cause in Bulgaria.
